Experience
Birdwatching Morning
A slow walk around the lake with a local naturalist — binoculars included, and 70-plus species on a good morning.
About this experience
The lake and its reeds are a rest stop on a busy flyway, which makes for a relaxed and rewarding morning circuit. Our naturalist knows the calls the way the reeds know the water — you will hear birds you would never see.
We move slowly, stop often, and keep a shared checklist. Kingfishers, hornbills, and on a lucky morning, an otter slipping between the boats.
